The Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) has assisted in the structuring of the project, which brings together the operators Emtel and CEB Fibernet Co Ltd Mauritius, Blueline and Telma Madagascar, and Canal + Telecom, SRR (SFR Réunion), Telco OI (Only) and ZEOP Reunion. The infrastructure is expected to cost EUR 75 million, and will stretch over 3500 km, significantly improving the connection capabilities of the Indian Ocean.
